Subject: Hudson Servo Motors
Hello All,

Just wondering if anyone here has tried the Hudson servo motors from Teknic? They're made in the USA and seem to be quality built.

Tom, would these work using a SnapAmp for control?

Here is a link to the manual...   https://www.teknic.com/files/downloads/Hudson%20Manual%20rev%202.0.pdf

Thanks for any and all help,
David.

Hi David,

They look to be standard Brushless Motors with incremental differential encoders.  I would think they would work with SnapAmp.

You would need to pick a motor to work with the SnapAmp allowed voltage range.

TK

Hi Tom,

Thanks for taking a look at them. Their "standard" voltage is 75V which I think makes them a better fit than many of the other servos out there.

Regards,
David.

They look like a good product. Apparently they have a distributor in California which handles all retail (less than 100 motors a year) sales. They will sell direct if you buy more than that.
